I've used this pick up for 3 years and still using the original batteries. Installed on a 30 year old Yamaha 12 string and it sounds so sweet. Crisp, clean tone, couldn't ask for a better sound. Look no further, grab one of these.

.Great quality pickup. I am using it in a 1997 Taylor 710 non electric dreadnought. Fishman humbucker has better tone than other sound hole pickups. Tried an m1a. Brought it back within a week. Used k&k pure western. Took them out too. This is my new favorite. Thanks Fishman!

I have used this pickup in my 87 D-16M and my custom built 00 body guitar since 4/09. Super easy intstall (end pin in both), GREAT sound/tone, long battery life. Great bang for the buck.

.Solidly built and super easy to install or remove. No discernible buzzing or hum while plugged in. Reasonable price for the quality of sound. Works equally well on finger picking or strumming styles. Long battery life and volume control easy to access.
A great piece of gear for a resonable price. Easy to install (all you need is a Phillips head screw driver) and you can be playing in 5 minutes from the time you take it out of the box. Quiet, faithful reproduction of my acoustic played thru a Crate Taxi battery powered amp. Great for fingerpicking or moderate to heavy strumming. Haven't tried if for recording yet. I wouldn't hesitate to use it on any guitar I own. The ease of removal/installation is a definite plus if you like to use different guitars on occasion for live gigs/recording.

. Pure guitar sound. No interference or feedback. Clear crisp sound. Use with Martin J40 and Fishman Loudmouth Mini Amp.

.Balanced top to bottom - this pickup allows my acoustic guitar to sound acoustic. I bought this to install into a modified/enhanced 000 Martin kit. I test drove it in my 1987 D16M and the sound is fantastic. Super low noise, accurately tuned and really responsive. I can't wait to get it to my luthier, into the new 000 and plugged back in. The sound is clear, rich and full - low's are nice and clean - mid's and highs are really bright but balanced. Permanent install requires trimming the output wire (or leaving a 5 foot of cable coiled in your guitar). Sweet, sweet sound, really impressed. I'm going to buy another one for the D16M too...it's just that good.

.Read all the reviews. I have other guitars BUT my wife bought me a "cheap" Fender Acoustic from a pawn shop for my birthday. She felt she got a good one because of the name. Not all wood by any means! Not much sustain. No ringing from the strings etc. I love her for it but I knew it needed a little help so I bought this Fishman. When I got it I hooked it up temporarily in less than 5 minutes with the wire and end jack hanging down from the sound hole. I strummed a cord. Amazing! I immediately pulled out the old wooden end plug, looked at the directions to see what size drill bit I needed, drilled the proper hole, unsoldered the wires from the endjack, resoldered the wires I cut to fit, plugged the guitar in to the amp and WOW! This pickup has no "bad noise"! I held my guitar in front of my amp and no feedback.I was very hesitant in buying this or any other soundhole pickup but I am glad I got this one. It makes this Fender sound great.
Fishman Rare Earth Pro-Rep-102 Humbucking Soundhole Pickup
.Nice packaging, low profile device, easily installed, blends well within the sound hole, excellent acoustic tone range. Make an acoustic guitar that amplified, sound like an acoustic not an ES - 335.
Excellent acoustic guitar sound reproduction. Balanced, easily placed, easy to use, nice tone variation. Perfect combo.
Have only used it live a few times, but has a quality feel and looks.
Fishman Rare Earth Pro-Rep-102 Humbucking Soundhole Pickup
.Installed it in 3 minutes and played out with it a half hour later. Sounded great, well balanced for both finger and flat picking. I installed it in my custom made Myrtlewood Jumbo. I doubt if I'll make it permanent and install the jack in the end pin. I often play out un-amped, and don't want to alter the guitar.
There's not a lot of features, active sound hole pickup with a volume control, but it works for me.
No problems, it took me 3 minutes to install, solid construction.
A little spendy, but worth the extra cost.
Fishman Rare Earth Pro-Rep-102 Humbucking Soundhole Pickup
.Very good pickup. Not a professional unit however. There are much better units
for professional musicians. But for the money and within certain parameters this
is a fine unit.
