The YEP-202M Euphonium is a trusted instrument among top-ranked marching bands and corps. Redesigned as a marching-only instrument, this model features the best balance available. Projection has also been improved making it easy to see why marching-only models are preferred by groups like the 8 time DCI world champion Cadets. With an 11.8 large-throated bell, airflow meets little restriction and contributes to the instrument' deep tone. This euphonium also has a 1st valve slide thumb hook and durable valve guides for smooth action. The YEP-202M comes with a SLL-51 mouthpiece and a lightweight ABS case to easily transport your euphonium. Choose between a lacquer or silver-plated finish for your instrument.

Instead of a valve trombone, bass trumpet, or fluegelbone, I wanted a quality instrument that would offer something slightly different in the jazz and small ensemble venues. A local dealer had a silver one in stock, so I tried it, bought it, and what a nice horn! It plays better in tune, with very little adjustment, than I had hoped. And the sound! Like velvet! Big, dark sound. The valves are excellent! And, the size is compact! I highly recommend this instrument.
