This mouthpiece features a radical design with the shallow cup and deep plunge. As compared to my Bach 7S, I find that, without losing tone quality, it has sharpened my upper range (high G to high C) but was surprised that it also seems to enhance my lower register (middle C and below). It has not helped me much above high C, which is not good when I play Kopprasch high horn etudes (op. 5). I do not recommend this mouthpiece for beginning or intermediate students because of the seemingly non-existent back bore (the deep v goes almost to the bottom of the mouthpiece).
