The SCK-350 Student Percussion Kit contains all the implements needed by an early percussionist to start building rudiments and travel for lessons and band competitions. This set features a 13" x 3" maple snare drum, an aluminum bell set (F57-C88 range), soft rolling case with retractable handle, an 8" tunable practice pad, combination stand with X-style stand top and snare stand top, music rack; mallets; and Vic Firth SD1 drumsticks. For realistic practice and performance, note names are not printed on the bars. Note name stickers are included and can be applied to the bars if desired.

I bought this percussion kit for my son who will be just starting band this year. I ordered an open box item to save some extra green. Everything was just like new and I don't think I would have known the difference from an unopened box version. I paid a little more for this kit compared to another kit because this one had a built-in and snare mute, and the snare drum diameter was little larger. I am not a percussionist so I had my son's band director check it out. He was thoroughly impressed and gave it two thumbs up. Even with expedited shipping, I saved a bundle versus a comparable, gently used, kit at a local music store!
