The RVO Regular Superior Valve Oil is bases on a newly developed synthetic formula that is more consistent than mineral-based oil to provide superior performance in all playing environments. The RVO Regular Oil is made up of even-sized molecules to allow the oil to evaporate smoothly, guaranteeing a longer life with extremely responsive action. The Regular Superior Oil is designed for instruments with standard valve tolerances, such as student trumpets and is the same oil included with all Student Series Instruments. The RVO Regular Superior Valve Oil is available in a 1.28 ounce plastic bottle.

Most modern brass instrument valves are made with very close tolerances and in a very short time start to stick. I play a lot and was cleaning and oiling my valves three or four times a day. Many years ago I moved to synthetic oil and it was great. All synthetics leave a residue that is very slippery and needs to be cleaned every couple months. This is also great on older plated valves with pitting. It bonds to the valve and lasts far longer than regular oils.
