After having my BR12's for a few months, I had the opportunity to trade up to the SM12V's. Immediately noticed improved clarity on the highs and a fuller low end. The BR12's were good, these are great! These are matched with a EMX312sc mixer, and the sound was more than enough for our most recent gig at a house party of about 75 folks in a House Pub (what a place!!!) We ran 6 mics and 2 keyboards through the PA and the speakers had no problem keeping the sounds distinct and clear. Love these!

.I?ve been through plenty of peavey, Behringer, and speakers and these seem to sound the best. The quality is nearly perfect and the sound is crystal clear. I would highly recommend spending the $ on this superb floor monitor.

This monitor cuts through the heavy guitars and hard drum sounds so I can actually hear myself without screaming.
