Iv'e had a pair going on 5 years,Served as sidefills ,Mains,Band practice and they sound really good.they've been through plenty, even mishaps like user ignorance being clipped and distorted and never blew out (too much signal being sent,it wasnt distortion due to the speakers) someone also stepped on the speaker cable, Bent the hell out of the Cable Jack but the speaker input remained perfectly intact. PA speakers have been around a very longtime.In 1981 My band had a pair of 15 w/Horn Cabs.Before I Owned a pair of these S112's I heard a solo performer through a set of these,I couldnt believe how rich and big they sounded.These are great speakers, They are Tough and most of all they sound Big and warm for 12s.And finaly a sound engineer friend of mine with 20 years experience w/Live Sound uses 4 S112s per side and 1 Sub For out door park concert series and covers ALOT of ground.Warm, Clean,Clear well made Speakers.
