This analysis led to the development of the new scalloped bracing pattern, a new and ideal acoustic structure that maintains the durability of the top board while bringing out the most sound the FGX has to offer.

System66 features an under-saddle piezo pickup developed by . Controls include a 3-band EQ, an adjustable mid-range frequency control, and a precision chromatic tuner for optimum sound tailoring. The system is powered by easy to obtain AA-size batteries that provide a stable power supply for improved sound quality.

I bought this guitar to use as a "beater," a guitar I could leave sitting around the house to pick up and play whenever. This guitar looks and plays better than I expected, so I purchased a hard case for it instead of just leaving it sitting out. I have a 800 buck+ Takamine acoustic/electric that isn't as nice as this guitar. This guitar has a full, rich sound and plays great on the upper frets (unlike my Takamine). I would gladly trade in my 800 buck Takamine for another of these guitars at half the price.
