Received in a shell pack. Good woodwork and beautiful finish. Very good tone with Evans G2 replaced with china made Remo heads came with tom.

Problem:
I seems like mine came with wrong hoops or there was a serious (dimensional) design flaw. Lug holes of both hoops did not align with shell side thread holes (see photo attached). It was so off that I could not "finger tighten" lugs. I tried to turn lugs with tuning key but I was obviously giving uneven stress to screw threads. Checked and measure hoop dimensions but no signs of bent or damage. So I enlarged lug holes (on outside edge) of the hoop by filing them and now all lugs go straight freely into receiving thread holes. I have never seen this kind of problem even with an entry level junior drum kit.
