I bought this to use with my new Heck Rack II. It integrates really well with it. It fits into all of the standard clamps and openings and it has the same finish, plus the price is very good compared to other companies. The one thing that is really nice is it has a two stage rise which allows you to make it really short or really long.It also has the ability to store the arm inside the tube if you don't need the arm extension. The extension is fairly long so it should be able to reach just about anywhere. The stand comes with memory locks. I haven't experienced any slippage with this. This stand is definately the way to go if you buy the Hex Rack. The only negatives are it doesn't have the infinite cymbal tilt adjustment like the Pearl and TAMA have (it has teeth) but I don't really miss that feature. Second, it has a standard wing nut on the top and you need to tighten it down. I had one fly off while playing it.
