I bought this to use with my new Heck Rack II. It integrates really well with it. It fits into all of the standard clamps and openings and it has the same finish, plus the price is very good compared to other companies. The one thing that is really nice is it has a two stage rise which allows you to make it really short or really long.It also has the ability to store the arm inside the tube if you don't need the arm extension. The extension is fairly long so it should be able to reach just about anywhere. The stand comes with memory locks. I haven't experienced any slippage with this. This stand is definately the way to go if you buy the Hex Rack. The only negatives are it doesn't have the infinite cymbal tilt adjustment like the Pearl and TAMA have (it has teeth) but I don't really miss that feature. Second, it has a standard wing nut on the top and you need to tighten it down. I had one fly off while playing it. The felts are also very thick so it didn't work well with my 8" inch splash (muffled it too much) so I am going to get a thinner felt for that stand.
Yamaha Medium Boom Stand Arm
.Solid boom stand which matches my other hardware. A little light on features and attention to detail. Bought a similar Pearl boom at the same time. Spent $10 more on the Pearl boom but found it to be much more appealing overall..
