The perfect guitar. Size, sound, construction, fit/finish, and price. This has become my go-to instrument. Don't be distracted by the affordability of this instrument.
I bought two, one for my daughter and one for me.

The first thing you notice is the thick neck. Sorry , whatever you did to improve the entry level Acoustic line doesn't work for me. That neck holy cow it's like a big old Gibson neck from years ago. I thought I was grabbing a chopping axe instead of a finely crafted FS series 700 now 800 that replaces it. Other than that it's a good guitar. The sandburst finish is great. I grab my FS 700 bought new from Custom Guitars' Friend and oh it is so much nicer on the neck. Slimmer, more like our Taylor guitars. I buy FS for one reason, it is the best for a beginning player. Had to knock it down a star. Will work great for folks with larger hands though. Also, and not a negative, the FS 800 is now thinner on the guitar body at least 1/2 to 5/8 inch thinner, but not as thin as my Martin 000. The FS 800 is 3/8 to 1/4 inch thicker, without measuring, just comparing and estimating. The FS 800 appears to have all the same other features: Solid Sitka Spruce top, the main tone component. It may have a little thicker braces, no sure. I notice it is not as open and vocal as the FS 700, due to a smaller cavernous body most likely. The FS 700 series has phosphor bronze more mellow strings where the FS 800 has 80/20 bright brass strings. I do prefer phosphor bronze. So when you order the guitar get you a couple sets of EJ16 D'addario Lights. I give it 4 stars, 80 Percent, but I would put this at 90 percent if I could, because it rates an A minus, not a B minus. Cheers to , as they continue to make a great guitar that could use a few tweaks. If I were guessing they might have changed builders in China. Cost dictates manufacturer. I say bring back the FS 700 and offer it at a slightly higher price and let the customers decide. My guitar the FS 800 was a level 1 return, perfect in every way, no papers or allen wrench for truss rod though.

.The thicker neck of the FS 800 will be great for folks with larger hands. And it will be less likely to have neck issues ever on down the road. Beefy Neck is a big plus....

.Great guitar for the money. I wanted a guitar to play around on while i'm sitting around the house but I didn't care for the smaller boxier sounding parlor guitars. This thing sounds great. Nice clear tones and plenty of volume. And after applying my rewards points it was too cheap to pass up. Love the matte finished neck to. I would happily recommended this instrument to anyone looking for a great sounding affordable acoustic guitar.

I have to say that this is a lot of guitar for the money, beautiful sound, fun and easy to play, beautiful finish and style, I was going to hold out for the vintage tint but I played this guitar and fell in love so I went ahead and ordered the natural. It's perfect for beginners and experienced guitarists alike, I would recommend this guitar over and over, money very well spent.
