The A Series speakers by are designed for live P.A. system use. They are 2-way systems featuring bass reflex cab design, heavy grille, recessed handles, and black carpet covering.
The A12M has a 12" woofer, 1" high-frequency horn, 300W program handling (600W peak), and 125dB SPL.

I recently purchased a pair of these monitors and they have been working great! I use these in a 7 piece salsa band for gigs and rehearsals as well as with jazz and funk bands. You can't beat the price for a pair of monitors that are this high of quality-I'm even considering buying a 2cnd set.

.These are great sounding speakers. I've used them twice as mains and they kick butt. We would have to play a stadium to use them as monitors and use our huge mains. For small clubs, this is more than adequate.
The two flaws are somewhat minor: as was pointed out elsewhere, when you're using them as mains on poles, the inputs are up on top, making them hard to plug in; also, I wish there had been an alternative to the felt covers--they pick up leaves and dead grass at outdoor gigs.

.Great monitors! I just purchased my second set because of different venue needs, but love the performance from these monitors. I frequently use these A12's for mains in smaller venues!

.Nice monitor. I purchased four of these and am happy with them, especially since I got a great deal on all four. At regular price I think they are still worth the money. They are a bit heavey and only come with one speakon connection but sound very good for the price. I added a second speakon and have used them on several gigs with full band and would recommend them to anyone on a budget.
