This is a great vibraphone for the price, it's less then other comparable vibraphones. The frame is streamlined, sturdy and well balanced, not top heavy. It comes apart into 6 pieces that will fit into the back seat of my Carolla Sedan. It's easiest to assemble and disassemble upside down on a blanket, takes 5-10 minutes, like a small drum set. The tone is clear over the range of the instrument and very responsive.
