Students at my school loved having these in the fun colors, and I got the benefit of great sounding instruments in my classroom. The only con is that the carrying case is made of plastic and falls apart quickly. I wish these had the fabric bag like the ivory recorders.

.These are strong in-tune recorders. the only draw back is the translucence make it difficult to see if the student is covering the hole completely.

I first started ordering canto one piece recorders, which sound fine, but the build quality to them is sub par and they break VERY easily. I would definitely recommend a yamaha recorder for a hundred pennies more.
