New portable with lesson program and great sound
The PSR-E353 portable digital keyboard is full of great sounds and features, ideal for aspiring musicians who are just starting out. Use the on-board lesson feature, Education Suite (Y.E.S.), to learn the 100 built-in songs, or explore the 573 instrument Voices and 158 Styles to create your own music. The Aux line input turns the PSR-E353 into a speaker system for your MP3 player so you can listen to and play along with your music collection. It also features iPad and iPhone connectivity and a master EQ.

573 high-quality voices
The PSR-E353 comes with a diverse array of 573 different voices. The grand piano voices in particular utilize stereo-sampled sounds with a superb feeling of presence. Players can enjoy reverb effects for the feeling of playing in a concert hall, and choruses that add extra breadth and resonance to the sound.

Lesson suite details
The lesson function offers a total of nine stages”three for the left hand, three for the right, and three for both hands, helping beginning players to practice the songs stored in the instrument. There's a scoring function that makes it fun to practice and improve, and a "waiting" function that adjusts the tempo to the person playing, pausing the accompaniment until the correct note is played.

I really enjoy playing lots of songs and singing along as the keyboard provides its own accompaniment styles, voices and patterns to my chord playing. One can really be a one-act band with this keyboard that I have used at shows. It also transposes swiftly. Sometimes the upper voices strike me as turning very soft in sound when I change voices (flute, synth, strings, etc.), but this is relatively minor and I plan to use an amp with this keyboard at shows. I do wish it had more voice and style options for accompaniment purposes and may eventually upgrade to one that does. But this keyboard does the job for what I need it to do at present.

.I Love the keyboard,it sounds better than I thought.
I can use this on my pro recordings.
Yamaha PSRE353 61-Key Portable Keyboard Keyboard with Survival Kit
.The 353 sounds much, much better through good headphones or a hi-fi amp. The built-in amplification is wretched.....About 95% of the voices are pretty awful, but that leaves 20 which is enough. It is a sort of build-your-own-sound kit, as I use the layering all the time. I prefer the synthesizer voices to those on my fancy new MOXF8. I think it is a very good value.

.This product exceeded my expectations. My neice said this was her best gift, and she had a iPhone. Just saying.

.Got this for my son who is learning to play. He loves it. Many tone options.
