Product Description

The Washburn Comfort Series WCD18CE Acoustic-Electric Guitar is handcrafted with a mahogany body and a select spruce top. Its Dreadnought body shape with spruce top produces full-bodied tone with excellent projection. The addition of a Fishman Bridge Pickup and Fishman Isys+ Preamp make the Washburn WCD18CE a great performer and value.

The "C" shape neck of the Washburn WG016S is comfortable and even feels good if you're used to an electric guitar. Other quality touches include a abalone rosette, wood binding, engraved "W" on the neck heel, sealed precision tuners, and "Washburn" inlayed on the headstock.

Fishman Pickup & Isys+ Preamp
The Fishman Pickup System that equips the Washburn WCD18CE has features that allow you to stay in tune, control feedback, and shape your sound. The control panel is easy to access and includes an onboard and easy-to-read Digital tuner. A phase switch helps reduce feedback while the volume, bass, and treble controls let you dial-in your sound for the room. A low battery indicator warns you ahead of time when it's time to swap batteries. Case sold separately.

Overall price combined with value and quality is truly amazing.
Just received the WCD18CE comfort series guitar today, and I am very pleased. The overall construction and quality of this guitar is unbelievable for the price. I would recommend this guitar to anyone, novice or pro.
The quality of this quitar is amazing. Just a few turns on the truss rod and it was perfect. I set it up my self in a matter of minutes.
The value of this guitar is worth twice the price that musicians friend is asking. I ordered it in april and recieved it the second week of June. I was very impatient and owe musicans friend an appology for that. But anyhow it was worth the wait. The on-board turner is a great feature and is very accurate.

.Absolutely love this guitar. It has become my daily player. Also own 1976 Ovation Balladeer, Epiphone, Yamaha. I mostly play the Washburn unplugged, but it sounds terrific when plugged in. The neck is great for fingerpicking styles and it is nicely radius'd and very comfortable. Great sound and nice projection. Nice full sound for a dreadnought.
My daughter grabs it as soon as she walks in to visit and she likes it better than my Ovation, which is saying something. She plays Chaylor Swift, alternative rock, some indie rock and they all sound great on this guitar. I came back to buy another one of these guitars for her and decided to write this review.
Very well built guitar. Quality components and craftsmanship. Great pickup in the Fishman and it includes a built-in tuner. High quality nut and saddle like you would find in a much more expensive guitar.
Played great right out of the box. Didn't really need to be set up at all. Nice touches on the guitar. Looks great and every aspect is nicely done from the finish to the hardware.
Unbelievable value. Plays like an $800 guitar. Reminds me of a Chaylor. Sound is excellent.

..
This is a well built guitar for the money. Washburn should be highly considered if you are searching for a good elec/acoustic. with a solid spruce top and decent electronics, Washburn and Custom Guitars Friend hit a home run with this Guitar.
Impressive finish all around, from top to bottom. Also very comfortable to play for extended time. Suggest adding this to your collection if you are a serious guitar player. Washburn is very impressive.

.I was excited to order this guitar. I have never owned a Washburn but always wanted one. I was choosing between the Washburn and a Yamaha. Yamaha has been my go to acoustic guitar. When I opened the box I was very excited. The Washburn looks great. Then I picked it up. It felt great. Then I played it. The first couple of cords were amazing. Then I heard it, a buzz when I played a G. So, I checked out every fret one at a time. The E string buzzes on the first three frets. I am bummed. So, now I have gone over the guitar very carefully and found that the provided 9 volt battery is dead. The strings are spotty and old looking. (I hope changing them will fix the buzz).

I am going to give it another chance and review after I change the strings.

However, I am not as happy as when I opened the box.
