Gosh, I feel robbed. I bought this at GC for a few hundred more earlier this year. It has become my go to guitar. The body is swamp ash and the fret-board is ebony with 24 frets--my ideal. I didn't set out to buy this guitar but couldn't put it down once I started playing it. Now to find it here for so much it less gives me the schpilkis in my ginecctagazoink. I wish I didn't see this. Everything about this instrument says quality. The Duncans soar and snarl. I play it through the computer with Guitar Rig 5 and output it to a Bugera 55W Infinium. It's one of the few guitars that doesn't seem to decay too quickly going through the computer. My Lone Star Strat which was also the same price MF is asking for this Schecter, dies, and to play it and get some sustain, I have to come out of the Guitar Rig and go straight into the amp which I do through an effects array. I'd rather not have to do that. So, I stick with this Vampyre Red A-6 almost exclusively. Get one. You you be getting a real deal for this price.
