I was looking for something I could play fast on, something I could drop tune and tap on. Plus something I could afford. I played this baby and got what I wanted. I also enjoy "slappin the bass" and It has that "slappn" effect. I have the red finish and Its lovely nothing you get get over the screen. But all in all if you get this you most likely will enjoy what you get.
The knobs can get a little stiff, and pull up but its nothing drastic
I buzzes a little bit when you play
Schecter Guitar Research Stiletto Extreme-5 5-String Bass Guitar See-Thru Black
.This was my first 5 strings bass and I did not regret buying it!The space between the string make it really easy to play for someone who's not used to play on a 5 string bass. The body is awesome! Everyone who saw that bass was blown away. The tone can get deep low enough for playing heavy break down and super high to make some slap. The only downside of that bass is that I have to make it fix big time because the body bridge was going off and the knobs for the tone were falling on the ground while I was playing. I had to make the bridge holes bigger cuz I can't even put a 125 string in it! Otherwise it's a really good purchase for someone who want to get a good first 5 string for a good price!

.Powerfull gain but not quiet deep low. Best on mid range sound. Good for slap, crisp enough high tone. When I see inside back for battery case, it seem not so neat with it's cut...the bright side is I think 5 string can give me more range to explore the sounds.
