I have been playing guitar almost five years and have five guitars and my Schecter Corsair is by far the best. The pickups aren't real duncans but the sound graet both clean and with destortion. The coil splitters work good and i can get any kind of sound i want out of it i want. The neck is one of the most comfortable i have ever played on. I play a Gibson SG Standard a lot and i would rather play this korean Schecter any day. The pics really don't do this guitar justice. Mine has the high gloss walnut finish on it and it's absolutely beautiful. I only wish i had paid the extra 50 bucks to get the bigsby on it but thats the only thing i would say to get different. So get this guitar RIGHT NOW you won't regret it.

.The Corsair is a contender for best in class - by far. The quality and features blows away Ephiphones for sure. The neck is one of the nicest you'll see at any price with the ebony fingerboard, and very comfortable.Playing it is a joy. I put 11s on it, get a fat sound and I can still bend them with the help of the 24.75". Played side by side with a 335 on a Deville 410 and it held its own.I also happened to get an incredibly great deal on it. My friends are so jealous with my Schecter semi-hollow Corsair in Walnut. Thanks Schecter for making it available for us little guys.

.Lotsa good things said here already, the Corsair excells over most other models in its class at this price point; there are just so many things done right, the MIK quality is a cut above most all other entries, fit and finish, pro hardware, great electronics using the Duncan Designed coil split Pups, a very sweet voice indeed! Overall weight and balance make the grade, neck action with the Ebony fingerboard that gives great access above the 12th fret is above par; Grover tuners are precise, Tones Pro is an upgrade bridge system, attention to detail, great fret work, set in properly, body binding with bound headstock truly impresses! The Schecter Corsair may just be the most overlooked ES335 style guitar out there, it easily competes with so called "Master Built" and "Pro Shop" offerings at double the price! Overall the Corsair is an exciting and modern take on the classic semi hollowbody designs! In my opinion that is!

.From a recent trip to Guitar Center, I've tried Italians, Gibsons, and Gretsch Hollowbodies, and this one I tried at a local store has been the best I've ever tried, without even having to plug it in. The Schecter Corsair Electric Guitar felt great in my hands, played well, and felt classical. If i had a million dollars, and i could pick any hollowbody in the world to buy, forget the Gibsons; Im going with this beauty.

.Just received this axe about five days ago. I currently have three Schecters and this was the only one that was not setup very well upon arrival. I always have to make some tweaks, but I really had to pull the neck back on this one, adjust pickup heights/pole pieces as well as the bridge. It's playing great now so if you are a bit handy with the tools of the trade you'll be fine. The finish is not quite as glossy as one would hope, but that too can be rubbed out. The coil tap switch on the bridge pickup is still not working correctly and I have to really snap it up to tap the single coil sound. I may try some contact cleaner and see if that helps. We all know how challenging it can be to replace a pot on a hollow body. With all that said I still am very happy with this instrument. Very nice and warm sounding for jazz playing and enough edge to play some classic rock. I certainly wouldn't use it for edgier, modern music, but my current gig requires a lot of flexibility and this works great. I look forward to tweaking the setup and little more and putting more time in playing it.

.This guitar is well made. I have tried all of the Korean semi-hollowbody guitars, and I would say that this was the best built of the bunch. It has a nice solid feel. If you are a relatively new or part-time player you will probably find this guitar adequate to your needs. If you are a semi-pro or pro player you will want to replace the knobs and the pickups. But if you stick a couple of real Duncans in this thing you will have a very solid semi-hollowbody guitar for a fraction of the price of a Gibson.

.Played and sounded great right out of the box. the finish looks almost a dark red. Looks a lot better than the picture.

.I was looking for an affordable semi-hollow body guitar. And I was'nt sure what I wanted to get. I check other brands such as; Ibanez, Gretsch, Gibson.and Epiphone. Unless you want to pay $$$$ to get a realy nice semi-hollow. You won't be happy with the rest until I chech out The Corsair. Its exactly what I've been looking. I bought the black semi-hollow, took it home and played for hours. It runs over the inexpensive Gretsch and Epiphone and the sound, playability, and looks without the $$$$ of the other brand. Go on try it, I'm very satisfied that I bought Corsair. And I know you will be to.

.I bought this guitar and found it harder to play than my schecter jazz elite . From the 1st to the 6th string , the jazz elite was 1/16" wider . I had a new nut made , adjusted the neck and pick-ups and now it is one sweet playing guitar . Try one, have it set-up and I promise you will be one happy guitar picker
