This is really a great instrument. It's sleek, but has a good weight to it. The neck is surprisingly slim and fast with great action out of the box. The pickup/switch configuration is perfect for this sort of bass. You can still get a traditional bass sound (albeit trebly) with the use of the neck/middle pickups, but tear up a low guitar sound with the bridge. Plus all of the pickups can be tapped, so it gives you the opportunity to really add texture to different configurations. I can't really think of many cons to this product. The one I do notice is that if the volume is not at full or null there is a slight hum, but that may just be my model, and can probably worked around with a little elbow grease. Overall, one of my favorite instruments I've ever purchased. 5 Stars!
