Product Description

Voiced for tight, punchy bass with lots of harmonic tone, the versatility and performance of the Headliner 410 bass speaker cabinet encourages use with any fine bass amp head. The Headliner 410 is constructed using internal bracing, and is covered with roadworthy black carpet. Steel corners protect the cabinet from the rigors of the road. The cabinet includes a black powdercoat finished 16 gauge perforated metal grille.
The four 10" ferrite magnet woofers are designed with a rich bass tone in mind. The sealed cabinet insures tight bass notes, with every note rendered precisely. Inputs include two 1/4" input phone jacks, and one 4-pin twist-lock connector for maximum flexibility.
With a nominal impedance of 8 ohms, and a power handling of 800 watts program and 1600 watts peak, the Headliner 410 can be used in conjunction with any reasonably sized bass amp head. With the 8 ohm impedance, the Headliner 410 can be easily stacked with a Headliner 210 cabinet on top, resulting in a 4-ohm total load.

800 watts program power handling 1,600 watts peak Four custom-designed 10" ceramic magnet woofers 8 ohms impedance 18mm ply cabinet with bracing and steel corners 16-gauge perforated metal grille Durable, stylish black carpet covering

I bought this cab to go with a Line6 lowdown 400 watt bass head. I'm fairly picky about gear, and I wanted to get the best bang for the buck setup I could get.($600 for amp head and cab) This cab gives me the sound I want, tight, warm, punchy and full range. Not at all boomy. It cuts through a loud drummer with big drums and large, loud Paiste cymbals and a guitarist who isn't afraid of volume from a 50 watt tube Marshall amp and 2x12 cab. In fact my guitar guy was really impressed with the sound coming out the cab.
300 bucks well spent.
Speaker cabs don't usually have alot of features. I gave it an 8 for the lack of tweeter. Which isn't really a problem because I don't miss it with this cab. It's relatively crisp for no tweeter.
8 for quality because the front grill seems a little bit flimsy for a metal grill. It will still protect the speakers much more than grill cloth.
10 for value because it's sounds too good for $300. Sure you can spend $500-$1200 on a 4x10 cab, but why? So fellow musicians can oooh and ahhh over your pricey rig while your playing Smellys corner Tavern? pfft...
This is the best bang for the buck!
Peavey Headliner 410 4x10 Bass Speaker Cabinet
.This cabinet and Peavey really lied. This cabinet will not hold the watts that they said it would. My SVT Pro 4 should match up with this cabinet and it doesn't. Peavey doesn't tell the truth on the back of their cabinets. This cabinets says 800w program and 1600 peak. Its really 400rms, 800program...why lie about your product? I just bought a Ampeg PF 4x10 800 w @ 8ohms to o with my 4 pro. I will never by any kinda peavey product ever. Ampeg never fails. Please don't by this cabinet. Peavey lies about the product and plus this is the headliner(pv). (Offbrand of the tour series).
Peavey Headliner 410 4x10 Bass Speaker Cabinet
.This cab is punchy, tight, has a great range from lows to mids and its inexpensive. The only downside is the weight. As a bass player it is hard to come by a cab that is lightweight. I use an Ampeg PF-500 as the head, a Warwick Corvette wiht Dual J's and a Sterling Ray34CA. Each instrument played through this cab has a phenomenal difference when played. I highly recommend this cabinet. I will be getting another one.
Peavey Headliner 410 4x10 Bass Speaker Cabinet
.This cabinet is pretty solid and really the best in the price range. The stated power handling is questionable and im not sure i would push 800w into it but it sounds really full and balanced with a low tuned bass or 5 stringer.I am not a fan of horns in bass cabs and like the tight sound of a sealed cab so it delivers there.I do not like ozite "rat fur" covering on anything.Right now i am using a Peavey max bass pre and dpc750 power amp bridged at 750w @8ohms and turned halfway up on the power amp.For peace of mind i will probably be adding another one of these 4x10's to the rig whenever i have the extra cash.

First off, gave it an 8 because it does not have a horn, but for my use as an extension cab and to take another 8 ohm cab and get the 4 ohm capabilty from my head, it rocks. Swr Workinman Pro700, Ampeg SVT Neo 4X10 & the Peavey 4X10 keeps up and sounds great. I tried the Peavey 4X10 by itself, it is a solid cab and handles 400 watts easy, but to get any high end imust come from my P Bass tone control, other than the horn PV done great for the bucks.
Peavey Headliner 410 4x10 Bass Speaker Cabinet
.Bought 2 of these to replace aging Fender Bassman 4 x 10 cabs. Used 8+ years. Got them fast from MF. Tried them out at home, sounded OK. Out to a gig......Very disappointed! They have no bottom at all, not like the Fender cabs. I'm using the 1000 watt PV Tour amp, and with the fender's, I only had the volume on 2 or 3. With there PV 4 x 10 cabs, I had to turn up to 4 or 5 to get somewhere near the same volume. And they break up and waffle easily, so I'd have to EQ a lot of the bass out of the rig. Don't think these are a bargain. Made in China......says it all! Save up more penny's, but better cabs in the 5-6 hundred dolla range.
Peavey Headliner 410 4x10 Bass Speaker Cabinet
.I own the 410 and 210 I stack them for most gigs. Use the Tour 700 with them. Bought another to go with the Tour 700 at church. All sounds great together.
Peavey Headliner 410 4x10 Bass Speaker Cabinet
.Great!
Peavey Headliner 410 4x10 Bass Speaker Cabinet
.Works for my husband - what he requested for home recording outside of the studio to practice.
