.I needed to buy two sets of bridge pins for my 12-string. So, these were affordable, and I knew what I was getting into buying plastic. Although they are plastic, the age of my guitar has a great sound, so these actually did nothing to hurt the sound of my guitar.
The only real problem I had was, in shipping, one of the boxes got crushed, and lost one of the pins. They come with an extra, so it worked out ok.
