I've used Martin SP strings for years. I've tried many others including the ultra-expensive coated strings and have always come back to these. I prefer the Extra Light SP Greens. Most of my playing is folk finger-style with some light to heavy strumming when the song calls for it. The Martin SP strings are durable, rarely break, always sound great and have good longevity if you clean then after each gig. I love their brightness, clarity and full range of sound. I've used them on Martin, Gibson, Ibanez and Breedlove acoustics and acoustic-electrics.
