I've used Martin strings in a variety of guages on a variety of acoustic guitars for years and I am always satisfied with the sound and longevity of these strings.
Playing at home or local gigs, these strings stay in tune well and sound great even on my old kick-around Fender DG-7. Their excellent qualities really shine on my cedar topped Seagull Entourage with a full, round tone with just enough brightness and the same is true for my spruce topped 1981 Yamaha 12 string.
I've tried lots of strings from other brands before and in my opinion these Martin SP's sound brighter and last longer than any other I've used. I highly recommend them.

.I'm always looking for deals when it comes to buying guitar strings. I went with Elixirs for a while but, they're just way too expensive. I've used these SP Strings before and when I saw the 2 pack for the listed price, I went and ordered 2 sets. One set will usually last me about a month, considering that I play every day, that's pretty good. These have a great tone and sound to them and are long lasting as well. Great product .
