I have Martin d-16gt and this case came with my guitar. Case was looked ok at the first sight, but I soon figured this is just no-good case for my expensive Martin guitar. This case is just made of plastic and material is not stiff enough to protect the guitar.I dont think I can trust this case to protect guitar when I am traveling around with it. Also, inside cloth is glued and it will fell apart soon. and This case is not light weighted, its pretty heavy to carry around. The latches are also not alinged together and not secure enough to keep the case closed from struck or shock.I would not recommand to anyone to buy or have this case. I have this case but I am now looking for new case because mine already broken-I had this case only little over than a year!This is just wrong case for my guitar.

.I was underwhelmed when I got this case. The vinyl is so thin that even the tiniest ding will show the wood underneath it. It does fit Martin dreadnoughts exactly. The interior is also soft and plush. The handle is an extremely cheap plastic job molded to look like a leather wrapped handle. Martin makes such fantanstic guitars, I expected a little more quality case. If you want a case to protect your guitar, but you don't care if it looks like it's been beaten with an ugly stick; this is your case.

.This is a very nice looking dreadnought size case with a lightweight hard shell. It is lined with beuatiful thick green plush material. There is enough to cushion the guitar well and a Martin D series fits perfectly. I had a guitar shipped in one wrapped in bubble wrap on the outside and enclosed in a cardboard box. Both the case and guitar arrived just fine. However, the case can be scratched fairly easily and is not sturdy enough to check as luggage (I would not check a guitar anyway). It has a storage compartment for accessories with a leather pull tab. The three latches are a lttle weak, but will hold up if not abused. Overall, I like it and chose it over molded plastic cases because of its classic appearance.

.This case came with my martin guitar and it started falling apart within months. I don't take my guitar many places but took it from Michigan to Illinois for xmas. When I got to Illinois I went to take the guitar out of the back seat and noticed that the whole back panel was coming off and one of the bumpers on the bottom was gone. I looked all over my car for the bumper and nothing. Now this case is sporting some very fashionable duct tape and I am looking for a new case.

.This case came with my Martin DRS1. It's an impressive guitar... The case not so much.
I didn't realize how poor it was until I ordered an Epiphone EDREAD case, which uses rich, luxurious materials, double the liner material and the stitching is rock solid. Plus, aesthetically the Epiphone actually has some design to it.
The EDREAD is thirty five less.
I hate this case so much I am posting it on multiple sites. I do not work for Martin or Epiphone. I just work hard for my money and expect the best quality for my money.
