I have been using DAddario for a long time...I thought I would try the Martins,I had not used them in 20 yrs...At first I was put off that they are now made in Mexico...But after I had them on for a few days I started to really like them..Also there less $$$ then the D Addrios...I have a All Mahogany D-28 type guitar that I use for recording and it sounds Great...You should always try different strings,no guitars are the same..what sounds good to me may notsound good to you..Same when you buy a guitar or a amp or a pedal.....

.I have used these strings for over 20 years and they still sound as great as they did back then. I have never had issues with these strings and have always had incredible luck with the sound and quality. These strings are very hard to wear out and have a sound that no other string could sound like. Go out and try a few sets and you'll understand what I am talking about.

.I've been using Elixir for years, and I realized how great these strings sound on Martin guitars. So I picked up a pack of em and put em on my Gibson Hummingbird and I will NEVER EVER EVER use any other strings on it again!
Martin M150 80/20 Bronze Medium 10-Pack Acoustic Guitar Strings
.First of all why are all these people talking about Elixir strings like their made of gold. Their the most over rated strings on the market and they cost as much as gold. These Martin 13's I've been using for years. They last a long time if you keep them clean. They sound great and you can't beat the price. Your wasting your time with anything else (as far as flat top acoustic guitars go).

.It's good for a short while, loses its resilience after a few weeks, but it's a good cheap way to go if you break strings pretty fast.
Martin M150 80/20 Bronze Medium 10-Pack Acoustic Guitar Strings
.EUREKA! I have been looking for stings for my Martin HD-35 that bring out the bass yet don't muddy the treble. These bronze strings are superior in that respect to phosphor bronze. Phosphor bronze has a bright sound. The M150s have a warm, natural sound that perfectly matches the deep bass the dreadnaught was designed to project. I tried Elixirs, Martin SPs, and many other strings, but none can compare with these. I put the strings on and tune them to pitch, stretch them, then retune. They seem to never go out of tune after that. The M150s are great for bluegrass, country, contemporary Christian, etc., if you are using a pick (a Fender Heavy is a good choice) for the leads. If you are a rhythm player and primarily play chords, the projection is greatly enhanced. If you play fingerstyle, the bass response is incredible. I suggest you buy a set and try them. You won't be disappointed!

.I have used just about every brand of strings manufactured, but found these to be the best I have ever used. Broke strings at almost every program or gig. I now use 80/20 bronze on both my Taylors and my EJ200 Gibson Epiphone, and very seldom break a string. Clarity, tone and tuning is very good. Way to go Martin M25 80/20s.

.For fun.
Martin M150 80/20 Bronze Medium 10-Pack Acoustic Guitar Strings
.Great strings, wouldn't expect any less from Martin.
