Graphite-reinforced neck-through construction imparts massive sustain while refusing to shift when traveling through various climates. The breakneck-fast 12-16 compound-radius rosewood fingerboard is designed for modern metal. Well. I've wanted a Jackson soloist for a while. Love the styling. The shark fins. Six in line Head stock, neck through design, and super strat body all was appealing, but my other guitars are USA made. I feel you get what you pay for with guitars. So I checked out the USA soloist. The volume knob is right in the way for my style of playing, and didn't want a Floyd Rose. Not a huge dive bomber and they are 3500.oo. So I gambled on the SLXTQ. Let me say I have not been disappointed. It feels great. Good balance and weight. The set up was good. The Duncan designed pickups have good tone, and the picture didn't do it justice. It's a sharp looking rig! I feel you would be safe going with any Jackson in the SLX series
