The KEX features lightwood and resonant basswood body-wings, one-piece through-body maple neck with graphite reinforcement and scarf joint, and a 12-16 in. compound radius dark rosewood fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets and pearloid sharkfin inlays.

Also equipped with a pair of volcanic Jackson high-output humbucking pickups, master volume and tone controls, three-way toggle switch and a Jackson-branded Floyd Rose licensed double-locking tremolo bridge, providing amazing tone, exceptional dynamic response and reliable performance.

The KEX is available in Satin Black with eye catching gold hardware and white binding along the body, neck and Jackson pointed 6-in-line headstock. Case sold separately.

Solid wood body and neck thru makes for an amazing sound. Jumbo frets make playing so smooth. For the money I don't think there are any guitars that rival this one, I'd even be hard pressed to believe the USA Select series is worth the price difference.

The pickups are my only complaint and I had planned to replace those immediately upon purchase anyway.

The guitar is AWESOME. PERIOD
