This model blends the best of the old and new that combine to make an excellent electric guitar.
The Special Design pickups have been beefed up little for a slightly hotter sound. They sound great with a bit of dirt on your amp. An Ajusto-Matic bridge replaces the original to help keep your guitar strings in tune. It also works better in conjunction with the floating tremolo tailpiece. A new neck pocket ensure greater sustain and acoustic resonance to improve the quality of sound.
Where the Fender Classic Player Jazzmaster differs from the Jaguar mostly other than the pickups is the scale length. The comfortable C shaped neck has a 25.5 inch scale length which delivers a little more sustain. A 9.5 inch radius rosewood fingerboard offers a balance of play-ability and feel. The switching is also a little different to the Jaguar. It is a little more straight forward on this guitar.
