Product Description

Here we have the SKB stage Five. Fantastic board. This thing has tons of bells and whistles on it. Multiple power supply options, built in cable tester (quite handy!), And 2 separate loop sections to keep all your long cables between the guitar, board, and amp plugged into the same location, YES, even with 2 amps! The pedal mount dimensions are 26" x 13.5", Making it slightly bigger than the Pedaltrain PT2.

This board is solid. Surprisingly lightweight, even when full of pedals! A few signs of use, as I've owned this board for 6-7 years, but everything works. It is clean and from a non-smoking environment. Only really traveled back and forth between my house and my church.

As far as the modification I spoke of in the title, anyone who has ever used this board will know that the stock loop Velcro (or carpet) is HORRIBLE. Looks ratty, Barely holds pedals, and frequently loses grip on them when you stand the board up. Many times did I find my pedals all mixed up in a pile when I opened it up. I got so tired of it,  and proceeded to spend many long hours tearing all the stock stuff off, and scrubbing away all the industrial adhesive SKB used to bond it to the plastic. The result was a clean plastic board, to which I added my own industrial grade loop Velcro (cut to fit everything). In my opinion this GREATLY increased the reliability and usefulness of the board! It honestly looks much cleaner as well. I also individually wrapped each of the light gray power supply cables with a thin layer of black electrical tape to help the board look cleaner as well.

Only reason I'm selling it is that my pedal use outgrew this board. It's a sweet board! Check out the specs here! (Via musicians friend):

The SKB Stagefive Pedalboard is a management system for your guitar effects pedals that offers you filtered, regulated power and short-circuit protection. You also get the ability to handle either 115 or 230 VAC.

(2) 1.3 amp VAC jacks for powering pedals from Digitech and Line 6, etc

(2) variable DC jacks to allow any voltage from 4-12 volts, simulate and "almost" dead battery

(4) standard 9 VDC jacks for Boss, Electro-Harmonix, etc

(1) 18 VDC jack for MXR EVH Flanger, etc

(2) 24 VDC jack for boutique and vintage pedals

(2) 9/12 VDC jacks to accommodate additional boutique and vintage pedals.

All DC jacks have polarity switches so center negative or center positive is not a problem with the SKB-PS-55 Stagefive Professional Pedalboard. The power is filtered, regulated and short circuit protected with a detachable main power cord with a 115/230 VAC power supply so you can travel internationally with no problems. And the Stagefive Professional Pedalboard is covered by the SKB Million Mile Guaranty on the case and five year warranty on the electronics.
