The guitar is fully playable with for a historic guitar very good
string action (3,8mm (E1) on 12th fret) !!
In the top, two cracks beside the
ending fingerboard were well sealed/closed. In the back, a small hole was
closed (it seems that the guitar has been bolted on on a wall for decoration in
earlier times...).
The back seems to have been reglued, once, too
All
the repairs have been properly and well done, the body is seal and sounds
The
original shellac varnish is showing some authentic and characteristical signs
of the time and playing - most on the top
--> Please see
pictures
The ebony fingerboard is a little bit chiped in the lower area
and is showing signs of the time. It seems that grooves to the fingerboard had
been filled up with wood puddy in the past.
The frets are showing no signs
of playing and have been rounded
The fingerboard has been cleaned and
oiled
--> Please see pictures
The classical strings are new
