Schaller RT-C Retro Trem Arm System Floyd Rose Chrome BP 1000-010
This is a new Schaller RT-C Retro arm assembly for Floyd Rose bridges in chrome, made in Germany. No fancy retail packaging, either we pack it or it ships in an Allparts blister pack. Includes the bar and arm holder assembly as shown. This is for Original Floyd Rose, Floyd Rose II, and Schaller trems, but also fits a lot of licensed models per the specs in the listing photos, detailed drawings found there.
The bar is a 6mm diameter push-in type, with a tension adjustment. Push the arm holder through the base plate from the top, lock it in place with the allenbolt (wrench not included) and cup assembly from the bottom. Push the bar inthe top of the assembly, slide the cap/tension adjustment onto the threads of the arm holder and finger-tighten to taste to control the bar tension, from free-swinging to held-in-place.
Besides a replacement for the dreaded missing floyd bar, it provides a stable and clunk-free feel to the trem with excellent flutter capability (on a properlyset-up bridge). I use one on my Jem with an otherwise-stock Edge Pro. Was exhausted with horsing around with tiny plastic bushings, painting my trem bar with nail polish, tightening the arm holder assembly, on and on , just to stop the bar from clunking, squeaking, and otherwise stopping me from using my very expensive trem! All of the above work and the bar would behave properly for about an hour - enough!
Please measure your guitar before purchasing if your trem is not a Schaller, OFR, or FRII to ensure a good fit. Excellent Schaller quality, won't be disappointed.
