Bone nutThis is a guitar that I have owned since the late 70s. I was building/finishing some instruments and decided that this old friend was in need of some love. The result is a fun grab-and-go axe that has a brash, in-your-face rock tone and can clean up surprisingly well when you switch to the neck pickup.
The feel is very vintage, as the body and neck are about 40 years old, but the electronics and hardware are mostly upgrades (tuners are original). The neck contour is similar to the Gibson slim necks of the 60s. A bit of a mutt, using both Fender and Gibson flavors. The JB pickup has a big, ballsy sound. Fun to play.
