I chose this over the Pod when they were all the rage because the depth of sound is better in the V-Amp. I compared them head-to-head at the store and this one sounded better to me, hands down. I used it live for a couple of years through a small solid state bass amp with an XLR out. The sound guy loved it because he could easily adjust my level. The band loved it because the guitar wasn't cutting through everyones sound onstage. I loved it because I could use the amp as a guitar monitor instead of blowing my ears out.
Comes with foot pedal, power supply and gig bag. I hardly used the pedal. It still has the factory plastic over the numbered footswitches. I used the FCB1010 midi controller instead. That's for sale, too. But, the original pedal works great.
