Product Description

This is a beautiful 1950's 3 ply grestch broadkaster round badge kit. This is an especially rare version of this kit as it is the 3 ply set WITH the silver sealer. It almost couldn't look better for its age, the condition is incredible. Everything on the kit is completely original except the floor tom legs, which are still a vintage set. I believe this kit is around a 1953 as that was kind of the transition period between where gretsch switched to 6 ply and silver sealer. The kit includes the original mufflers on the top and bottom of the drums, and the muffler for the kick. There are, of course, some signs of wear on the kit, it is nearly 70 years old! You will see some lights cracking in the photos on the silver sealer there. There is maybe 2 spots where that has occurred.You will also as expected see some yellowing on the outside wrap, but only if you look closely. In fact I had no idea it was there until I took these photos! Please don't hesitate to ask any questions about this unique and beautiful kit!
