1981 Kramer Pacer Strathead, rare to start--and even more rare in trans-blue finish on poplar!
I've owned this guitar for 15 years, and had kept it because of its great tone and playability. It has a pair of early Schaller Golden 50 Humbuckers that sound amazing, with great rock growl.
The body has lots of dings, finish checking, etc. There is a blue laquer touchup on upper bout, around the input jack, and under one of the strap buttons.
This natural relic look likely happened because of the original thin laquer used on the trans-blue finish.
The neck and body are original to each other, there is only one set of holes.
The pots had been replaced at some point (not by me), and there's still some volume when you roll off the volume pot. I contemplated fixing it--but the guitar sounds so good that I didn't want to change a single thing. This is the best sounding Kramer I have owned, and I've owned about 50 over the years.
The neck is in good shape, and frets have lots of life on them. Sorry, no case--but I will include a padded gig bag and pack well.
