Product Description

Rust resistant stainless steel bridge saddle screws with hex key

Low 8mm Set For Strat' Style Guitars Made Outside Of The USA

*Will not fit modern USA flat topped stainless steel saddles or American Vintage Series bridges*

8mm Low Set. NEW
In other listings we offer these in a variety of heights/mixes so it is possible to choose the right set to replace over protruding screws or to raise/lower/maintain the present string height.  To choose the right set it is important to start by measuring the height of your instruments existing screws/saddles to help work out what is needed.

Supplied as a set of 12 screws + 1 spare

1.5mm adjustment key included

Will these fit?

Most strats made outside of the USA, including most Mexican Strats, have metric screws. Though there are exceptions including those Strats fitted with a USA made Classic 70s Bridge which have imperial/USA screws.

Metric screws have a less course thread than imperial/USA screws and have a very slightly larger diameter. Accurate measurement of the length of a removed screw is often the best way to tell the difference if no direct comparison is possible.

Metric screws should measure a number of whole millimetres in length - Typically 10mm, while Imperial/USA screws will not measure a whole number of millimetres - Typically 9.5mm
However differences are more difficult to spot between 8mm and 5/16"(7.9mm) screws.

Metric sets offered in other listings:

Very Low 6mm Set with Key-   Includes 12 x 6mm screws + 1 spare screw

Low to Very Low 8mm and 6mm Set with Key-   Includes 8 x 8mm screws and 8 x 6mm screws, to allow for height variations
