I absolutely LOVE this pedal but I just have too many overdrive boosts and I am trying to trim down the herd a little bit. Perfect for so many purposes and it's very versatile. The V2 is well known as one of the absolute best overdrives ever made and I can tell you, for the dime, it doesn't get much better than this. Check youtube for a tone of very favorable reviews. But for you metal players, this pedal really does the "metal boost" thing very very well. Put it out in front of a high gain amp and it tightens everything up nicely with some warm and nice mids.
