You are looking at a Gibson Epiphone 1984 Limited Edition Explorer from the Epiphone custom shop. This is the ultimate Hetfield guitar! It is in great condition minus a fine finish only crack on the back of the neck. It is really fine and is not as noticeable as the photos shoe. There is absolutely no crack in the wood and the crack does not open when flexed. It is 100% a finish issue only and does not involve the wood whatsoever. The headstock has also been refinished with a Gibson silver foil logo that is under the clear, and looks amazing. This is a fantastic guitar! It sounds incredible and plays as good as it looks. It is lightweight and very well balanced. It comes with Dunlop Strap locks installed, Gotoh stoptail bridge, grover tuners, and EMG 81/85 pickups. One strap button has been relocated to the back of the guitar for better balance. The original strat button has been left in place. This guitar has been well cared for, and always in a smoke free home. It has not been out of the house. It will come shipped in its original box and the neck will be protected with extra precautions.
