I have had this beauty for five months. I am primarily a jazz player. Out of the box, after a lengthy examination, I found that the workmanship and the quality was excellent for a guitar in it's price range. However, because I tend to use
7th's and 9th's when I chord, I could not find the tone I wanted until I changed the strings to flat wounds, I prefer D'Addario chromes. Once I did that, I was able to record into a direct box without use of pedals on several recordings. If you like the solo sound of George Benson or my hero, Pat Metheny then this is the instrument for you at a reasonable price. Also, lefties, you can pull out this bad boy and your friends will love it. These pickups, Super 58 Customs are amazing for a jazz sound. I honestly cannot comment about a rock sound because that is not really my genre but I am so happy that I purchased this guitar.

.I use this guitar at church and other gospel music events. It's a beautiful guitar with a nice finish and nice hardware. The tuning keys are smooth and feel good. The pots seem good so far. The neck and fretboard are nice, however the cutaway is insufficient. Can't really get comfortable past the 15th. The guitar is not contoured well either, making playing for long stretches fairly uncomfortable, at least for me. Overall it's a great guitar. I think it belongs in a lower price range.
