I bought this Ibanez IBZ10 at a garage sale for $20 (sorry Custom Guitar's Friend, but I do a lot of other shopping with you every month, sometimes twice) and it's a great little practice amp. You can dial up decent tone both clean and overdriven as long as you take a little time and dial it in. I'm reading reviews here about guys trying to play over their drummers and guys playing bass guitar through it. Anybody playing Shea Stadium or Madison Square Garden will be disappointed if this is the amp that they expect to do it with. Give me a break, it's a ten watt "starter" amp, just like it says on the Jumpstart Kit. It's great for practice, I've even gotten some decent sound by miking this amp for recording. Be realistic-you can't just crank everything up to 10 plus and expect good sound and you can't pull 100 watts out of a 10 watt amp.

.I have had this amp for 12 years, and it has been used more than any amp in my collection. It has been my primary practice amp the whole time, and I've even been able to get some decent miked tones in the studio. It has had beer, water, soda, and other liquids spilled on it throughout the years and it still keeps on ticking. Just keep the jacks clean and you shouldn't have any issues. The distortion sucks, but it's better than nothing if you don't have a seperate pedal or processor (I still use an old Digitech GNX 2 modeler). It's not a bass amp, and you can't expect it to perform in a full-band scenario. It's a practice amp, and it definitely does its job well.

Have had this about three years. Pretty decent for a small amp. The CD input sold me on it. Good tone and ok distortion. Not a Marshall but works with my GB-2 and computer outputs too. Lacks a mid-range response but not a problem for a small amp. Good for practice.
No probs.
Does what it says and typical good Ibanez quality.

.i got this when i first started playing, i didn't have much money so i went to a pawn shop and saw this amp for $50 and got. Ive been using it for around 4 years and i love it. it does the job and then some. i think im going to get another ibanez amp, just one thats bigger.
Ibanez IBZ-10G Tone Blaster Amp
.I have owned this for over a year. It does just what I expected it to do. Good tone, decent OD but not a Marshall. Not a tube amp either but a good practice amp that keeps the plaster on the walls. The CD input is good and the speaker stands up to bass runs from an MP3 or GB-2.
Ibanez IBZ-10G Tone Blaster Amp
.I use this amp every day and it's great. High quality, good sound, amazingly loud for its size and great bass response for its size. I've used many guitar amps and this one has the best tone I've ever heard from an amp for anywhere near this price, the distortion is pretty good for rock, hard rock, and maybe even some punk in there. And the clean channel works great too. I also used it to run my bass guitar and my friend's mandolin and it always sounds great.
Ibanez IBZ-10G Tone Blaster Amp
.I started my musical experience with this amp and a fender squire guitar. I really love this amp for practicing because it has more features than most any other amp of its kind. I personally really like being able to control the bass, middle, and treble in conjunction with the gain and getting JUST that sound you want without need of a pedal. But the sound is fuzzy like other users have said and I don't recommend it for any kind of "show off" performance. But alone and practicing, it's my best friend.
Ibanez IBZ-10G Tone Blaster Amp
.I got this in a package. Clean is ok, solid state, I'm sure there's better but it works. Overdrive is very one dimensional. If you're into metal you might like it, but if you know tone you will want to stay away. Distortion doesn't seem to increase much as the gain knob is turned, just gets louder and noisier. Instead, just turn up the clean to overdrive it. It's not tube overdrive, but it sounds much better than the built in gain (and no noise.) EQ seems to work well. It's just barely loud enough to play with drums without overdriving. Not loud drums though. Save your money and buy a Fender or Vox modeling amp, or an inexpensive tube amp such as the Epiphone valve series.
Ibanez IBZ-10G Tone Blaster Amp
.Got this with the Ibanez jumpstart pack. Guitar awesome. Amp ABYSMAL. This thing buzzes horribly. Like everyone has stated before, theres no use turning on the overdrive, since there is no overdrive at all but just an even more aggrivating buzzing noise. And let's see, what else... oh yeah, can't set the damn thing for distortion to save my life, no real customizable settings, no nothing. Go with valvetronix or marshall. Theres no use getting this amp except if you get the Ibanez Jumpstart pack. As soon as my vox comes in, this thing will be plummeting down from my 3rd floor dorm window into the courtyard where everyone will see its shame.
Ibanez IBZ-10G Tone Blaster Amp
.Only having a 100-watt amp at home, I wanted a cheap practice amp to mess around with in my room. It's a basic, cheaply priced no-frills amp. The clean channel is crisp and clear, but the overdrive channel is REALLY noisy, with a hideous buzz. However, I experience no noise when I connect a distortion pedal to the clean channel. For the price, you get what you pay for, but it's still a nice practice amp for small quarters.
