Ibanez has long described Artwood as a "modern approach to acoustic guitar tradition." The AVD1NT Artwood Vintage 12-Fret Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar, Ibanez is a pre-war dreadnought-style guitar with a 12th fret joint for a robust sound and an old school slotted head with butterbean knobs that harken of yesteryear.
The AVD1NT also features a bone nut to deliver a well-balanced sound and a bone saddle on a distinctively contoured rosewood bridge with Ibanez Advantage bridge pins. There's plenty of tone and projection thanks to the combination of solid Sitka spruce top, magohany neck, back and sides, and rosewood fingerboard. Other appointments include a single-ring abalone rosette and a wooden mosaic backstrip inlay.

I have played ibanaz parlor guitars sounded good this not good
Ibanez AVD1NT Artwood Vintage 12-Fret Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar Gloss Natural
.This is a 12 fret guitar and the extra volume of the body gives it a great sound. There is a pulsing feeling when you hit a chord. I own two Gibson acoustics, three Martins, and this thing holds its own. I've been playing it in jams, and at home. It's a bit mid-ranging, like a Gibson.
I have but one compliant. Fret edges need dressed a little better. Up in the neck around frets 1 thru 7 or 8 is ok, not perfect but ok. I only notice it when I try to, running a finger down the side. Beyond great 8 it's a little worse. This might only be an issue on my guitar and not all, just saying. I also have an Ibanez AC240opn and it's perfect.
At this writing, they are discontinued by Ibanez. They are available yet, but will not be for long. I found mine on blowout at a deep discount.
Totally this is a stunning guitar. Perfect in every way but for the fret edges. But that is an easy fix.
