I bought one of these specifically for grab and go living room rehearsals. We'll work on arrangements and vocal harmonies in my buddys condo living room. Since there are neighbors above and on either side, volume must be kept at a minimum. I've had other practice combos, but they were heavier and not as versatile. I had an Ibanez SW35 several years ago, and while it sounded good w/35 watts and had that tilt-back design, it weighed around 40 lbs. These Prometheans are 20 watts @ 17 lbs. Much easier to move around, so you can carry the amp in one hand and your bass in the other. Don't let the sale price fool you... these get the job done with great tonality.
