It starts with the Satriani body made of American basswood and continues with a JS premium 3-piece maple/bubinga neck that's been reinforced with KTS TITANIUM rods. The stability and sustain are amazing with a taper and radius that make fingering all 24 frets a thrill. The Edge tremolo bridge by Ibanez is tailored to provide extreme control and maintain rock-solid intonation with each use.

Soundwise, the JS24P delivers a huge range of tones. Wired to 2 humbuckers from DiMarzio is a Hi-pass filter on the volume knob(push/pull) and a Coil-tap switch on the tone knob (push/pull). The result of which is a total control over the sound that will inspire the best in those fortunate enough to make this Candy Apple beauty their own.

I have played a lot of guitars over the last 30 years, although still in a bit of the honeymoon phase with this one, it has every indication of becoming one of my favorites

.This is a nice guitar. It had good sounds and tones, and they were expandable with the pop up volume pots. I'm 57 and have been playing for a long time, and have several instruments already. For the money it was good quality. It simply for me didn't sound different enough from my strat, or didn't seem to have any more capacity for sustain than my strat. Since I already had a guitar that was close to that sound, I decided to exchange it for a different model.

.Exactly what I was looking for. This guitar neck feels just like a Strat. The pickups sound amazing! This is the 12th guitar most of them American made, I was kind of skeptical about buying an overseas made guitar but, wow! this is a quality instrument for sure!
