Part of the SR Premium line and manufactured in the Ibanez Premium factory, the SR Premium 1805E 5-string electric bass is designed with high-end features while maintaining affordability, making it the new standard for the serious, professional musician.

The SR Premium 1805E boasts a smoothly contoured exotic and beautiful Flamed Maple centers & Rosewood wing top on a large mahogany body for gorgeous looks and powerful, aggressive tone. Its five-piece SR5 wenge/bubinga neck is also bolstered with KTS titanium reinforcement rods inside, and finished with a rosewood fretboard. The Mono-Rail IV bridge is the ultimate in string isolation for bass. Each saddle is independently and securely locked down to the body for maximum vibration transfer and no interference. One screw controls the height of each saddle for easy adjustment.

Nordstrand Big Single pickups provide the clear sound characteristic of single coil pickups with an aggressive edge. The EQB-IIISC 3-band EQ with mid-frequency select (250Hz or 600Hz) and EQ-bypass switches gives you a world of tonal possibilities, making the SR Premium 1805E as versatile as it is good-looking.

I love this bass. It has the punchiest clearest B I've ever played. The volume is perfectly balanced across the neck/strings, it's lightweight, neck is perfect, and it is sooo easy to get around on. I like it much better than the Bongo 5 that I exchanged for it. This Ibanez is a killin' bass.

.I use this bass to Practice at least 1-2 hours everyday and have no complain at all. It has a thin fast neck, very light weight which is a plus and the low B is not flabby. it is amazing and over all it is better looking in person than the picture online. If you can afford it get it. it is worth it.
