I hear a lot of hate and a lot of love about this pedal. I for one, love it. Why? Because its a vintage analog style pedal for the vintage analog tone. All those whom despise this pedal arent trying to play that "classic" style music. A lot of things come into play if you really arent getting a full tone out of it...the main factor is the order in which your pedals are put in. I run this pedal through an FX loop and run a fuzz in front of the amp input...this pedal still sweeps over all the added distortion. Whoever said this pedal isnt powerful enough is either full of crap or is doing it wrong. This pedal can do all you want it to do.

.This is a great multi-modulation sampler. Don't buy it if you won't a maximum quality phaser, or vibrato. Do buy it if you are looking for a solid sampling of them all.

.I did quite a bit of research before buying this pedal but it was really hard to tell whether it was good or not because all the reviews I found were so conflicted. After trying it I'm not exactly satisfied but in the end I'll probably keep the pedal. The major issues people seem to have with this pedal are noise and the subtlty of the effects themselves.

A lot of people complain about the noise this pedal makes and when I first put in the loop on my amp there was a ton of it, even when I unplugged the adapter and just had it bypassed. However, when I switched it to the front of my amp all the noise instantly was gone. Not sure what the issue is there.

Except for the vib setting, the effects are not great. The trem and phaser kind of suffer because you can't adjust for wave shape or stages like you would with a dedicated pedal. The pedal's knobs are also a little whacky. With range below 12:00 you can't really hear the effect. It has to be up around three to get a good sound. Rate gets too fast too early...anywhere above 11:00 is not really useable. I wasn't too thrilled about having to use the included power supply with the pedal. 24 volts means it won't work with my pedal board's built in power.

So despite The Worm's shortcomings, it doesn't actually sound bad and still has a pretty nice overall tone. A very vintage analog sound. The effects are probably still useable in certain cases. I'll keep my eye out for something better anyway.

.As you can see by the title of this review, this pedal isn't very good. I bought mine with out trying it, BIG MISTAKE. I got home, i sweeped though all the effects. What can i say about the effects? The effects are really not that noticeable, even with the range one full. This pedal is a waste of time! AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
