I received this as a present for Christmas in high school and that was in 2003. I've used this through high school through music school and till this day. I've toured the country in a packed van with this pedal bag and I've never had a single problem with it. I have stuffed it with pedals and cables thrown in in the back of cars trunks under drum sets in trunks and vans dropped in snow water mud. so if your into having your pedals perfectly aligned every time you open the bag then maybe you should get a pedal board with a hard frame or do what I recently have done and cut a piece of wood 12x21 and Velcro your pedals to that and place it in there, still a cheaper solution than a lot of options. I mean I guess it all depends on your experience with playing and knowing your setup or how valuable your parcels may be. Great bag for the price deff road worthy.
Electro-Harmonix Pedal Bag
.It does the job I needed it for. Is it the most gig worthy? Nah. And if I was a professional touring, I would invest in something much nicer, but for me - giging once a month, and taking equipment to weekly practice. It is perfect. My pedals stay nice, and it has plenty of space. I run a Digitech Vocalist Live 3, Zoom Acoustic, Big Muff, EHX Knockout, Small Clone, Small Stone, And a Noise Gate for my guitar rig. For my bass I run the Vocalist, Bass Micro Synth, the Clone and Stone, SansAmp Tech 21, and the Fishman Fission Bass Pedal. Plenty of room, and it looks nice enough. Works for me and it is super convenient and easy to carry my equipment with. I leave my amp chords and jumpers on top of the pedals and zip the bag closed.
Electro-Harmonix Pedal Bag
.This thing is indestructible.....Have had and used it for a good 7 to 8 years..........have not had one of the problems that I have read others complaining about in there reviews...
would recommend it to any of my musical friends and acquaintances.... ..........real easy to attach a power strip inside the bag also.....matter of fact just ordered a new Thurman power strip to place inside the pedal bag, designed to accept the sometimes bulky power supplies coming from the 5 pedals I use...
Electro-Harmonix Pedal Bag
.There are cheap hard cases to be found on the internet for this price that are of much more use than this soft case. Pedals don't stick well since its bottom is basically a slab of cardboard, and it makes it hard to transport, especially if you are trying to fit in two rows. Just go out and find a hard case.
Electro-Harmonix Pedal Bag
.This bag is well made, I haven't had any of the issues other reviewers have had with the zipper. My main complaints are that the handle and the strap get in the way (unless you tuck them under the board, but then they make it unsteady), and the entire surface should have been covered in velcro, because the strips they have are not placed optimally for two rows of pedals. Still, this has functioned well enough to get by.
Electro-Harmonix Pedal Bag
.I'd suggest this to anybody who owns the Korg R3 since it is a perfect fit as a gig bag. I haven't quite figured out what to do with the velcro type material that comes with it for pedals since it is a effect pedal case but it's saving my poor little R3's butt when it comes to the gigs I need it for. I'd say it could probably use a little bit better strap quality since I'm looking at this thing and it'll guarantee break off in the next year. Straps are easy to replace though.
Electro-Harmonix Pedal Bag
.having owned a pedaltrain in the past, this thing is somewhat of a disappointment. it's dirt cheap, and you get a thinly padded nylon bag to hold your pedals, but it's not really gigging quality. the base itself is flexible (it ships folded in half), the velcro strips are thin and spaced far apart (don't expect danelectro or MXR pedals to stick very well). the handles don't come off so they will always be in your way. overall, this type of thing is perfect to keep dust off your small pedal collection in your living room, but look elsewhere if you're going to play regular gigs or need something durable.
Electro-Harmonix Pedal Bag
.For the price, you can't get much better. I have a Behringer DI, limiter enhancer, wah, chorus, danelectro distortion, digitech bp80 and a radial looper box on my board and could still make something else squeeze in there. I use it normally in my basement jam space but have brought it to friends and it holds up just fine. I dont know how it would gig, but if youre on a budget... check it out. I normally flip the "lid" under and zipper it up backwards to get it out of the way. nice buy
Electro-Harmonix Pedal Bag
.I had been looking for a gig bag for my Roland FC-300 and this fit the bill. A lot of controller boards come with no gig bag...so those of you who are looking for one, this is it.
Electro-Harmonix Pedal Bag
.The product arrives with broken zipper. Tried two. Both units had broken zippers. Got my money back.
