The Fender Custom Shop Telecaster Custom in Aged Blue Sparkle has been one of my favorite Tele’s in our store. It is spec’d as having the smaller ’63 “C” neck carve, but this one came in with a much bigger neck, feeling more like a large Medium “C” shape. This neck has been enhanced with a flatter 9.5” fingerboard radius, and tall skinny 6105 frets that allow for maximum playability. The pickups are hand wound ’63 Tele neck and bridge, lower voltage output, higher tonal output. This instrument sounds like a Tele regardless of how much gain you use, and I find this guitar fantastic for Rock-n-Roll. This larger neck version is a very welcomed addition to our already stellar Telecaster selection.
