Finish is custom blend shellac with amber.

This hand made violin is more than a step up in sound and play-ability. It show some signs of shop wear and tear as well as a small scar on the top from a pitch pocket in-bedded in the wood.
This is not a cheap Asian student violin and should be acclimated 3 or more days before tuning and playing.
Hand carved top and back and scraped smooth (very little sanding involved in constructing this instrument.
