Limited edition Tyler Ice Water from Wildwood (#6 of 12...but really 6/13 as one was numbered 13/12).
The guitar is in overall excellent condition and shows nothing beyond normal playing wear. The case is functionally perfect but does show a bit of wear.
This guitar is the best Tyler I have played...with a great acoustic tone that has real presence which only gets better through a good amp. The trem isn't drastic like a floyd style but allows much more movement than a typical Fender trem but does stay in tune...amazingly well in fact.
While the guitar is currently set up in H/S/S with the midrange boost, included in the sale is a custom three single passive pickguard cut specifically for this guitar by James Tyler himself. On that guard the second tone is wired to the bridge pickup.
I could only weigh the guitar unscientifically but it looks like it comes in around 6.5 pounds.
The pickups are the Tyler Secret Humbucker and two Hot Laura JTS2. In the other pickguard are three Hot Laura JTS2.
The H/S/S pickguard has the standard mid boost preamp (designed by demeter I think) and master volume and tone. The preamp is activated my a push button.
The S/S/S pickguard is passive with a master volume with the second tone wired to the bridge.
Body is Mamywo and is solid.
Neck is what they call the Standard '59 (.845 at the nut/.875 at the twelfth) and of course has the rolled edges that feel so nice! Compound radius 9.5"-12" and jumbo frets (.110 x .055). Nut width is 1 5/8".
Tuners are Hipshot Locking and the bridge is the G2RV from Gotoh.
I really hate to sell this one but due to and injury I need to fund an ergonomic guitar. I simply cannot play a Fender scale guitar.
